IDEAS Extended is a series of four forums to be held over the course of the year. These events are free and open to the public and will focus on issues of current interest. Our next event, scheduled for September 21, is “Literacy in Technology” (see details below).
 

Topic: Literacy in Technology

In today’s human-made world, technology and engineering are a part of everything we touch. At the Museum of Science, Boston, The National CenterThe National Center for Technology Literacy is designed to work with educators, government and industry leaders to integrate engineering as a new discipline as early as elementary school and continue it through high school, college and beyond. Is this making a difference in how students approach technology? Will it help create a more knowledgeable workforce? Join us and find out….
