Milton J. Valencia has been with the Boston Globe since July, 2007, most recently as a night-side general assignment reporter, responding to breaking news events including shootings in Boston, the discovery of a soldier missing in Iraq for more than a year, and the rescue of a Cape Cod native from rebel forces in Colombia. His stories are of a quality-of-life nature, ranging from an analysis on crimes to the plight of the homeless. Previously, he worked in the Globe’s South bureau, writing political, economic development and crime related stories in the suburbs south of Boston. |
