Vast new wind farm site proposed off Martha’s Vineyard

14 miles off Martha’s Vineyard; could yield 10 times the power of Cape Wind

Federal officials today designated a large swath of ocean about 14 miles south of Martha’s Vineyard where they hope to see a massive wind farm that would dwarf the size of Cape Wind, the controversial wind farm planned for Nantucket Sound.
