Massachusetts judge nominated for US bench

A Massachusetts judge was nominated to serve on the US bench for the District of Massachusetts yesterday. Judge Timothy S. Hillman received the nomination after being recommended for the position in August by Senators John Kerry and Scott Brown. “There will be no learning curve with Tim, and I think he’s going to build one hell of a legacy,’’ Kerry said.
