Lola Ad Production Specifications All files need to be submitted via Fastchannel (click here for Fastchannel instructions) Resolution (DPI) •Any image should be scanned to res 12 (305 DPI) Images •Images should not be tagged with an ICC color profile •Images should be CMYK format •SWOP and/or GAA/SWOP Specifications for Halftone Gravure Standards are recommended Color Reproduction Guidelines •300-320% (total CMYK) •Highlight dot — Cyan 5%, Magenta 3%, Yellow 3%, Black 0% Black & White Reproduction Guidelines •Shadow 95% •Highlight 5% Gray Component Replacement •GCR levels should not exceed 60% Type Quality •Thin lines and lettering with fine serifs are not practical for the gravure process and should be avoided • Color type should be restricted to two process Colors • The minimum thickness of black type should be .004"; reverse type should be a minimum of .007" • Thickness of type can be approximately 8-10 points Bleed •Images intended to bleed must extend at least 1/8" beyond trim Type Safety •Type should be placed 1/4" inside the trim area |
