FIFTH ANNUAL BOSTON GLOBE TRAVEL SHOW TO TAKE PLACE FEBRUARY 19-21, 2010

The Boston Globe has announced that the fifth annual Boston Globe Travel Show will take place on February 19-21, 2010 at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. The Boston Globe Travel Show is one of the largest consumer-attended travel shows in the United States. In 2009, more than 17,000 consumers and 1,600 travel trade professionals attended the show, making the 2009 show the most successful to date. More than $4 million in travel was booked on the show floor in 2009, across more than 250 exhibitors.
Vacation Outlet, a leader in discount travel packages and cruise vacations, has signed on once again as a lead sponsor of the 2010 show. Vacation Outlet has sponsored The Boston Globe Travel Show since 2006 and has had firsthand experience with the success of the show.

The 2010 Boston Globe Travel Show will feature a variety of pavilions showcasing travel destinations from around the world, cruise specials, adventure travel, vacation rentals, vacation planning and packages, and much more. The show also will include cultural seminars, music and dance presentations, cooking demonstrations, and an array of activities for the entire family.

The 2010 Boston Globe Travel Show will be open to the public from 5:30-8 p.m. on Friday, February 19, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, and from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 21. Travel trade professionals are welcome throughout the weekend, with an exclusive trade-only viewing time from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday, February 19.
