Boston, MA, 2009-07-22 -

Boston Globe Media announced today the launch of a new business division that specializes in the creation and management of events and experiential marketing programs.  “BGM Experiential” will provide creative ways for services, retailers, and product brands to interact and make an emotional connection with customers.

Many businesses rely on experiential marketing to add a personal dimension to their brand, and include it as an ongoing part of their media and marketing budgets.  Others use experiential tactics such as sampling, guerilla marketing, or events to launch a new product or service.  The BGM Experiential staff has expertise in all areas of this growing field from consulting to execution, including the management of complex consumer trade shows.

BGM Experiential will focus on creating events within the greater Boston market, providing customized services to local businesses or national companies looking for a unique presence in Boston.

“Boston Globe Media has a strong track record in creating events of all types and sizes,” said Sam Martin, chief advertising officer of Boston Globe Media, “BGM Experiential allows us to draw on our expertise and offer a new, stand-alone service to new customers looking for nontraditional marketing avenues.”
