Assist editors and reporters with the daily functions associated with the Business pages.
|
Key Duties:
|
|
Prepare morning competition report
Write Who’s What, Where blog
Edit Letters to the Editor
Prepare business calendars to schedule upcoming events that should be covered
Interact with public and answer business-related queries
Screen emails and faxes for news value
|
Core competencies:
|
|
Strong writing and verbal skills; an interest in business news. Ability to work with others and to interact effectively with the public. Research skills.
|
Experience/knowledge/
skill/technical expertise required:
|
|
Proficient with Microsoft office, prior office experience helpful.
